Branding & Graphic Design: The VSDC Project
DesignHaus Creative Services was part of the team selected to support The Virginia SmallSat Data Consortium’s (VSDC) program launch. The team was charged with building the organization’s website, and creating promotional resources, technical guides, and a branding and identity package.
We developed the VSDC logo, created the VSDC style guide and all associated branding resources. The Virginia Small Satellite Data Consortium creates and delivers accessible and collaborative tools to increase the value and impact of data-driven problem solving for societal benefit. It was a privilege and an adventure to play a role in building a brand for this new organization. -
Branding & Graphic Design: The MRC Project
DesignHaus created the branding package for the interdisciplinary, multicultural, non-partisan, Modeling Religious Change (MRC) project and website. We designed the logo with multi-lingual options, the color palette, spirit mark, social media assets, Photoshop action filters, downloadable visual resources, and branded PowerPoint templates.
MRC is doing remarkable, data-driven research to gain a more detailed understanding of religious and nonreligious identity and change. We were proud to be part of the project’s extraordinary team of creatives, academics, and researchers. Our designs for this project reflect the fresh and dynamic quality of the organization’s research initiatives.

Corporate Identity Suite: The Beth Hester Media Group
Beth Hester Media Group (BHMG) is a small, multi-disciplinary studio that helps companies and organizations connect with their markets by designing fresh and effective written and visual assets for their print and online incarnations. The business is also involved in various aspects of journalism, publishing, and photography.
For BHMG we created a visual vocabulary that reflects the company’s multi-faceted nature and which is flexible enough to remain relevant as the business evolves. In this highly-collaborative process, we created all of the necessary brand identity assets: logo, color palette, business cards, letterhead, and labeling templates. -
Branding & Marketing: Throbb
Throbb is a brand-new earring line specializing in vibrant styles that enhance a woman’s individuality and reflects her free-spirited lifestyle.
For this client, we utilized an 8-week branding and marketing boot camp designed for fledgling entrepreneurs. The program familiarizes clients with the various branding assets, marketing strategies, and tools they can use to increase their company’s visibility and customer reach.
We designed the logo around one of the client’s favorite creations. The triangular elements represent energy, and showcase the ‘heart throb’ that you experience when wearing their designs. The typeface and font selection impart a bold and bubbly celebratory feeling. The colors of the logo, yellow, pink, and light blue, are inspired by buoyant 1980’s design.
